This tulip-shaped, handcrafted glass embodies the classic tasting glass, but with a warm, luxurious touch. The amber-coloured, hand-painted stem and base are inspired by the rich notes of matured whiskies. The tapered opening optimally concentrates aromas and offers a controlled and intense scent experience. The tall, elegant shape is the result of precise glass-blowing by our masters at the Amber Factory. Each glass comes with a matching, handmade 'outside' lid that prevents evaporation and locks in aromas. Product Description:
• Handmade, soda borosilicate glass. The composition with boron oxide makes the glass more resistant to thermal shock, more scratch-resistant and extra transparent.
• The amber stem and base are hand-painted, and harmonize with the gold of whiskies and other dark spirits.
• Each glass is unique. The shape and lid may show slight variations (tolerance +/- 2 ÷ 3%), which contributes to the artisanal appearance.
• The further narrowed tulip shape enhances the accumulation of aromas, ideal for whiskies with peat, sherry influences or high complexity.
• The long handle fits comfortably in the hand and prevents the glass from heating.
• The included 'outside' lid helps to keep all the aromatic layers in the glass until the perfect moment of tasting.
